Given that Apple's FairPlay DRM was just cracked, does anyone think that the recently released Apple patches address it? I know that it is not mentioned in the release announcement, but I am wondering if Apple is in the practice of sneaking one in? Much like another software vendor... Not necessarily 'bad-mouthing' Apple, I love 'em, but I am wondering if anyone had considered this or if it had happened in the past with them?
It wasn't really cracked; playfair just uses an iTunes or iPod key to decrypt the m4p stream and writes out raw mp4. In fact, VLC has been doing this for a while, too. -- Riad Wahby rsw () jfet org MIT VI-2 M.Eng _______________________________________________ Full-Disclosure - We believe in it.
